Launch dependency: The legal operator identity must be added before public release. The remaining terms reflect the website and functionality in this package.

About these terms

These terms apply when you visit or use todogrowth.com. By using the website, you agree to follow them. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.

To-Do Growth is based in the City of London, London, United Kingdom. References to “we”, “us” and “our” mean the operator of the To-Do Growth publication and website.

These terms cover the public website. Specific written terms may apply to a contribution, content licence, sponsorship or other separately agreed publication arrangement. A form submission does not require either party to proceed.

The website and its content

To-Do Growth publishes general information about business growth, positioning, value propositions, messaging, brand voice, customer research, launches and related subjects.

The content is provided for general information and education. It is not legal, financial, tax, investment, employment, medical or other regulated professional advice. It does not take account of your complete circumstances and should not be the sole basis for a material decision.

We aim to keep content useful and accurate, but business conditions, evidence, laws and third-party information can change. We do not promise that every page will always be complete, current, error-free or suitable for a particular purpose.

No guaranteed outcomes

Examples and frameworks illustrate ways to examine a question; they do not guarantee demand, revenue, profit, investment, search ranking, media coverage, conversion or any other result. Outcomes depend on factors including the offer, market, resources, implementation and decisions outside our control.

Intellectual property

Unless stated otherwise, the website and its original content—including text, structure, graphics, brand elements and downloadable material—are protected by intellectual-property law and belong to the relevant rights holder.

You may:

  • view and use the website for lawful personal or internal business reference;
  • share a link to a public page; and
  • quote a short, reasonable extract for commentary or reference when you credit To-Do Growth and link to the source where practical.

You may not, without prior permission or another lawful basis:

  • republish a substantial part of the website;
  • sell, license or commercially exploit the content;
  • remove attribution or rights notices;
  • present the content as your own;
  • use automated means to extract content at a scale that burdens the website or creates a competing dataset or publication; or
  • use To-Do Growth names, marks or visual identity in a way that suggests endorsement or affiliation.

Rights in third-party material remain with their respective owners.

Submitting information

When you submit information through a form, you confirm that:

  • the information is accurate to the best of your knowledge;
  • you have the right to provide it;
  • it does not unlawfully infringe another person’s rights;
  • it does not contain malware, unlawful material or content intended to harm the website or another person; and
  • you will not submit passwords, payment-card details or sensitive information that is not requested.

You keep ownership of material you submit. You give us permission to use it only as reasonably necessary to receive, assess and respond to the enquiry or proposed contribution, protect the website and comply with law. Personal information is handled as described in the Privacy Notice.

A form confirmation shows only that the website has received a submission. It does not mean a contribution or proposal has been accepted, a response has been promised or a deadline has been agreed.

Acceptable use

You must not:

  • use the website for an unlawful, fraudulent or abusive purpose;
  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website, its data or connected systems;
  • interfere with security, availability or another person’s use of the website;
  • introduce malicious code or conduct unauthorised testing;
  • impersonate another person or misrepresent your authority;
  • send spam or submit repetitive, deceptive or irrelevant form entries; or
  • use automated access in breach of published technical controls or in a way that places an unreasonable load on the service.

Access may be restricted where reasonably necessary to protect the website, its users or legal rights.

Links to other websites

Links to third-party websites are provided for context or convenience. We do not control those websites and are not responsible for their availability, content, security or handling of personal information. A link does not necessarily mean endorsement.

If another website links to To-Do Growth, the link should be lawful, fair and not misleading. It must not imply a partnership, approval or endorsement that has not been agreed.

Availability and changes

We may update, move, suspend or withdraw website content or features. We do not promise uninterrupted availability. Maintenance, security incidents, supplier failures and events beyond reasonable control may affect access.

Where practical, published page addresses will be kept stable or redirected, but permanent availability is not guaranteed.

Responsibility and liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where the law does not allow it, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

Subject to that, and to any mandatory rights that apply to you:

  • use of general website content is at your own judgement and risk;
  • we are not responsible for a decision made solely in reliance on general website content;
  • we are not responsible for third-party websites, services or material; and
  • we are not responsible for loss caused by circumstances beyond reasonable control or by your failure to take reasonable precautions.

If you use the website in the course of business, we will not be liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, revenue, business, opportunity, goodwill, anticipated savings or data arising from use of the public website, to the extent permitted by law.

Any liability connected with a separately agreed contribution, licence or sponsorship will be governed by the written terms for that arrangement.

Governing law

These website terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales will have non-exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory right you have to bring or defend proceedings in another jurisdiction.

If you use the website as a consumer, nothing in these terms removes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded under the law that applies to you.

If part of these terms is invalid

If a court or competent authority finds that part of these terms is invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply. A delay in enforcing a right does not waive that right.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms to reflect changes to the website, our practices or legal requirements. The revised terms will be published on this page with an updated date. Changes apply from publication unless another date is stated.
